The above photograph shows coconut plant growth after lava flow.  Artists recently returned from a Tea Roots expedition to Hawaii  to capture new growth and life in the Big Island habitats.  The green above is growth on a crater hill (around the former Green Lake).  The small plants sprout from coconut shells that locals place all around to encourage restoration.
